How to use the pliers ?

1. Removal of the pin

Select the plunger with the largest possible diameter. The standard box contains two different plungers (Ø 0.75 mm, colour yellow and Ø 0.85 mm, colour steel).

Open the pliers as widely as possible and insert the plunger into the pliers from behind. Block the plunger by closing the pliers completely until the audible click. The plunger is now secured by the hook.

Depending on the width of the bracelet, use the widest possible gauge in order to adjust the fixture and keep the bracelet immobile during the operation. Put the bracelet carefully in place with the pin opposite to the plunger and actuate the lever in order to push the pin out.

You can use the integrated pliers to pull the pin out or to place it again, if required. This function is available with or without a plunger in place.

2. Reinsertion of the pin

For replacing the tool, close the pliers, whilst holding the plunger between the thumb and the forefinger. Then open the pliers completely by actuating the lever. The tool is now free and can be withdrawn without any problem.

Put  the plunger for reinsertion in place and make sure that the flat part is directed downwards. If not, it will be impossible to actuate the lever completely. Block the plunger by closing the pliers completely until the audible click.

Preassemble the links and insert the pin manually. Place the bracelet carefully onto the pliers and actuate the lever softly until the pin is fully inserted.
